Will The N.B.A. Season Start On Time Not At This Rate

Publicado: 2011-11-16

NBA Dispute work still hangs over a league that began its blockade of July next following the current collective bargaining agreement expired. The talks have been held only twice since the lockout. The owners have been claiming that they have been losing millions of dollars in recent seasons. Many players have become millionaires overnight have been talking about going abroad to play in different leagues around the world. At this point in the season set to start on October does not seem much room for negotiation.

The owners and players meet on Wednesday in a hotel in New York, neither side would elaborate on what happened in those talks. One of the things that seem to agree is the fact that they need to have more conversations if they want access to the season started on time. Both sides see the urgency. Deputy Commissioner Adam Silver said: "I see no benefit to the characterization of our positions," the thinking seems to be shared by both parties at this point.

Commissioner David Stern and San Antonio owner Peter Holt, head of the labor relations commission, he also represented the owners in a Manhattan hotel. The executive director Billy Hunter and attorney Ron Klempner attended the union. The side have not met since the first of August Pryor to the meeting last Wednesday. It seems that some of these players have lost sight of reality. These guys do a damn good money to play a game to play for free for many years. Do not become a N.B.A. player during the night.

Players must realize that the fans are going to get hurt if the season does not start on time. For fans that I have wanted to go to the games, they will lose more respect for players who think only of themselves. Many of these players a lifestyle that is beyond belief. The cost of attending a game is to get quickly out of reach for many Americans. The economy is down and people can not even afford gas to get to work on these days. If these players do not understand that without the fans, there would be no support system in place to pay their outrageous salaries.

Although there is no timeline as to affect when the NBA begin to cancel the games, many have reported if an agreement is reached on September 15, the league will begin the process of cancellation of the games. The league responded quickly to the rumor saying, "We have no deadline in mind," said Stern. "We only have regard to the meetings and discussions in the mind."

Hopefully these two parties can return to the table to make things so the season starts on time. At this point, it looks promising.UGG Australia Women Tularosa Route Cable
